Random Rahi: Pyrosaurus Rex

The second-biggest predator on Okoto, and one of the only few surviving bio-mechanical dinosaurs in the universe, the Pyrosaurus Rex is an awesome creature. Similar to snakes on Earth, its mandibles are separated, meaning it has an easier time swallowing prey whole. Its large powerful legs are perfectly suited to hunting on open plains, and its toe claws are surging with heat energy, basically charring the ground wherever it walks. It is endemic to the Fire Region, but has been observed in the Jungle and Earth Regions as well. Its long tail is used for balance while running, but can easily double as a weapon. It has relatively short arms which it uses to grasp potential prey items and to help lift itself off the ground after sleeping. Its body is bristling with superheated spikes of varying sizes, mostly for defensive purposes against members of its own species. They are generally solitary animals and are extremely aggressive towards any other organism. They have been observed spewing fire from their maws whenever they become territorial, though it is not in a concentrated blast. The Elder Protectors once encountered one while fighting against Kulta, and it ended up wounding both sides severely.
