Random Rahi: Sentinel Wyrm

Another, much larger artificial construct created by the first tribe of Okoto. These creatures are significantly taller than their three-legged counterparts, and pack a much stronger punch. Located at their base is a repository which produces balls of plasma. When the wyrm reaches down to pick up a plasma ball to be used as a projectile, its jaws superheat the sphere, making it a highly combustible weapon. Its three appendages serve as struts which keep it planted in the ground during periods of sustained fire. Their long bodies are covered in a thick sheath of protosteel, however their exposed undersides make them vulnerable to enemy attacks. As the name suggests, they can tunnel underground at high speeds, easily outpacing even the fastest Jaka bird. Many of these creatures were created to combat the rising threat of the Warmongers, and many of them fell. Their armour shells can still be found scattered all over the island, although some Earth Villagers have reported seeing similar animals near the subterranean borders of the other regions. Perhaps one day they will return to save Okoto again, and those who call it home.
